ARKALALAH
An Ark City tradition for 90 years and counting!
The Arkalalah Festival includes parades, food vendors, and other events that bring in tens of thousands of people each year. The festival's name comes from the Native American word "alalah", which means "good time".
The festival runs the final Wednesday through Saturday the last full weekend of each October. Annual events include three parades, food vendors, a carnival, marching band competition, an “all class” reunion, Cowley College’s Dodgeballalah, and the Arkalalah Queen’s coronation.
Numerous committees work year-round to make it a fun and memorable event for all that attend.
More information about the Tacolalah Festival can be viewed at the Arkalalah website or by following Arkalalah on Facebook!
