Standby Rates
The Arkansas City Fire-EMS Department is often called upon to provide non-emergency standby for events such as rodeos, football games, etc. Any individual or entity seeking to retain City personnel at a private event shall make their request in writing. The rates for this service are as follows:

Two-hour (2) minimum for each City employee @ $45/hour per employee

After the 2-hour minimum is met, employee’s time shall be charged at 1/100 per hour.

Individual or entity will be billed by the Finance Division.
