Alcohol Information

Alcohol Evaluation

A conviction or diversion of D.U.I. and certain other alcohol offenses requires an alcohol evaluation by an approved evaluator. The meeting includes a fact-finding process allowing the Court to review relevant background information and receive recommendations from a professional. The alcohol evaluation center for this area is Heartstone, Inc.

If you have been convicted or are applying for diversion on an alcohol offense, you will be ordered to have an alcohol evaluation. The approved evaluation center is Heartstone, Inc., with Marc Hayden, CADCII, being the evaluator.

The fee for this evaluation is $150, which must be paid to the evaluator at the time of your appointment.

What if I Can’t Make the Scheduled Appointment?

You must keep your appointment. You should arrive 10 minutes before your appointment to ensure you are on time. Late arrival may cancel your evaluation. Failure to do so could result in a warrant for your arrest.

If the appointment is missed, you are ordered to appear at 3:00 p.m. on the following Tuesday to answer the reason as to why you should not be held in contempt of Court.
