Nuisance Abatement

The Neighborhood Services division issues notices to property owners for the following City code violations:

• Overgrown Weeds and Grass — any vegetation over 12 inches tall.  If in violation, a property owner will be sent a notice once in a calendar year.  

• Junk Vehicles — inoperable, untagged, or junk vehicles must be removed from property or stored inside a garage.

• Junk and Debris — property will be kept free of junk, debris, and trash.

Property owners will be served a Notice to Appear in court and may be assessed for the removal of weeds, junk, and debris by the City.
